Meet The Ardcairn Capital Team.
Specialist lenders with 50+ years of collective industry experience in the Irish real estate market.
CEO, Head of Origination
Daire is a chartered surveyor and holds a BComm and MBS from UCD and an MSc in Real Estate Investment and Finance from Reading University.
He has over 20 years’ experience in property and finance, having spent the early part of his career with Bank of Ireland and Investec, before becoming an equity fundraiser for developers; and ultimately taking a finance role within a residential development company.
During 2017, Daire saw a gap in the development finance market and set the wheels in motion to establish Cullaun Capital and now Ardcairn Capital.
He’s an avid football fan, but doesn’t want to talk about any recent premier league seasons!
Director, Head of Portfolio Management
Noel has extensive experience in residential development finance, with various different roles across the sector spanning over 20 years, including the co-founding of Cullaun Capital to help deliver development funding in Ireland and, he is delighted to be continuing in that line of business as a co-founder of Ardcairn Capital.
He previously worked with senior stretched loan providers in both Ireland and the UK, providing medium sized developers with facilities and service levels that enabled them to grow strongly, and he worked with a UK based developer and so understands the difficulties developers face in satisfying the criteria required by all types of equity and debt funders.
Noel likes spending his spare time watching rugby and walking, but unfortunately ends up spending it running after his two small boys.
Head of Credit Operations
Michael is an ACCA qualified accountant, a Qualified Financial Advisor with the Institute of Bankers and holds a BComm from NUIG.
He has over 15 years’ experience in the Irish banking and real estate markets which includes commercial lending, development finance and debt restructuring.
He spent the early part of his career with Anglo Irish Bank. Prior to joining Ardcairn Capital, he held management roles in Finance Ireland and Pepper Finance.
He enjoys watching sport, particularly GAA and football where he is heavily invested in the fortunes of Galway GAA and Liverpool FC.
